Ford, Daimler, and Nissan, three of the biggest car manufacturers in the world, joined hands together to build and market advanced fuel cell cars. The clean and affordable energy-efficient cars will be powered by fuel cell Powertrain, and are expected to hit the market by 2017. Owing to latest treaty among automakers to develop increased cooperation to meet the stringent rules on global emissions, the trio plans to make equal investments in this new Research and Development effort to launch new fuel-cell powered cars.
