Despite the price increase, the statistics necessitate getting your teenager covered by insurance. The existence of inverse relationship between risk and price thus makes sense in this situation. Statistics present teenagers as more vulnerable to auto accidents because of the lifestyle generally attributed to them. Intoxication and other forms of impairment have been cited as causes of such accidents. As parents, it is a matter of importance to trust one’s teenage children but it is better to keep in mind that protection should also be provided to one’s children.
