Getting car insurance is always a practical choice for anybody who owns a car. Based on recent statistics of auto accidents, teenagers emerged as the most often type of drivers that gets involved on a road mishap. The insurance company bases their rates on the probability of a driver to get involved in an accident.

On the other hand, getting car insurance for a teenage driver would definitely cost a lot. Parents with existing auto insurance may choose whether they would get a Family Policy or Separate Policy. Choosing either has a bottom line; the premium policy would still be expensive.
